Denplan : New Payment Options For Patients
28 April 2009
It's easy to find a Private Dentist. But a Dentist who gives you a choice of payment plans...that's not so easy to find!
Here at U Smile we try to run a patient-centred practice, so we'll work with you to find a suitable dental plan: one that meets your financial needs as well as your need for dental treatment. And right now we can now offer you an excellent choice of dental plans:
- Denplan Care: a comprehensive plan for complete peace of mind
- Denplan Essentials: a budget plan for patients who prefer the pay-as-you-go approach
Both plans have their advantages, but it comes down to personal circumstances. So the only question is: which plan is right for you?
Denplan Care
Denplan Care covers all the treatment your Dentist recommends, so you don't have to worry about surprise costs when the bill comes through. The only time you'll pay extra is when we incur costs from outside the practice, like prescriptions or laboratory charges.
Your Denplan Care premium is based on your own dental history and on how much dental treatment you're likely to need in the future. For most patients, monthly fees fall between £15 and £20 - though it's true that some pay more, and others are paying less.
Denplan Essentials
We're living in hard times, and everyone has to watch the pennies carefully. So we've introduced Denplan Essentials - a highly competitive dental plan for just £8.00 per month. Denplan Essentials covers you for:
- 2 check-ups a year, including scaling & polishing
- Dental X-Rays if required
- 20% off our Private dental fees if further treatment is needed
So why should you choose Denplan?
We believe both Denplan schemes offer value for money, and many patients have found that they pay less for Denplan dental care than they would for NHS treatment. What's more, both plans come with comprehensive dental insurance to cover you for emergencies when you're away from home. So all, in we think this is the most effective dental plan available.
Denplan Care or Denplan Essentials? You decide...
It's up to you! But before you rush off to join Denplan Essentials instead of Denplan Care, here's some food for thought:
- If you need a large filling as an Essentials patient, it's likely to cost between £60 - £70
- A root filling to save a molar with an abscess is £210
- Crowns start at £265
- Treatment of gum disease could cost you an extra £120 a year
All this extra treatment would be covered free under Denplan Care - so if you're going to need more than an occasional scale & polish, Denplan Essentials may not be the best choice for you.
To discuss your payment options - or to see if you qualify for NHS dental treatment -call the practice on 01656 782365
We hope you can see that we're on your side when it comes to paying for treatment, and that we'll always work to find you the best solution - whatever your circumstances.
